These full-time positions involve approximately 37.5 hours per week serving caseloads of 50-60 students who require occupational therapy services as part of their individualized education programs. You'll address diverse needs including fine motor coordination, handwriting skills, sensory processing challenges, visual motor integration, executive functioning, and adaptive equipment needsall through engaging teletherapy sessions delivered from your home office.
What Your Days Will Include
Conducting occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observation to determine eligibility and establish baseline functioning / Developing appropriate IEP goals that address students' occupational needs and support educational access / Providing direct teletherapy sessions focused on skill development through therapeutic activities and exercises / Recommending assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications / Creating sensory strategies and self-regulation techniques for classroom implementation / Consulting with teachers about accommodations, modifications, and strategies to support student participation / Communicating regularly with families about progress and home-based activities / Completing required documentation including evaluation reports, progress notes, and IEP paperwork / Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaboration with related service providers.
Required Credentials
Active Ohio occupational therapy license / Master's degree in Occupational Therapy / Minimum two years of school-based OT experience / Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy and developmental milestones / Knowledge of special education law and IEP processes / Excellent communication skills for virtual consultation and collaboration / Proficiency with teletherapy platforms, video conferencing, and digital documentation / Reliable internet connection and private workspace / Ability to adapt traditional therapy activities for virtual delivery.
